NHS Hospital celebrated International Yoga Day 2026 with great enthusiasm and active participation from its staff members. The event commenced at 7:00 AM and witnessed the presence of more than 50 staff members, who gathered to promote the importance of physical fitness, mental well-being, and a healthy lifestyle. All the directors and consultants of the hospital have attended the session.
The yoga session was conducted by two experienced yoga instructors, who guided the participants through various yoga postures, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques. The instructors emphasized the role of yoga in reducing stress, improving flexibility, enhancing concentration, and maintaining overall health. The participants actively performed different yoga asanas and appreciated the practical tips shared during the session.
Adding a special touch to the celebration, the hospital family also celebrated the birthday of Dr. Vibha Chitkara, Director and Infertility Specialist at NHS Hospital. Staff members extended their warm wishes to Dr. Chitkara, and a birthday cake was cut amidst a cheerful atmosphere.
