Nitin Kohli inaugurates road project worth ₹5.89 cr in Surya Enclave, Maharaja Ranjit Singh Avenue

Nitin Kohli stated that development is his top agenda in Jalandhar Central, and fulfilling commitment made to the public is a core part of his working style.

Under the Jalandhar Central Assembly Constituency, road development works carried out at a cost of ₹5.89 crore in Surya Enclave, Maharaja Ranjit Singh Avenue, Guru Gobind Singh Avenue and adjoining areas were inaugurated by Nitin Kohli, AAP's Jalandhar Central Halka In-charge. On this occasion, Jalandhar Mayor Vaneet Dhir was also specially present.

As part of this project, roads that had been in a dilapidated condition for a long time have been reconstructed, providing residents with improved, safe and smooth traffic movement.

This development work was a long-pending demand of the area, which has now been successfully implemented on the ground.

Addressing a gathering during the inauguration, Nitin Kohli stated that development is his top agenda in Jalandhar Central, and fulfilling every commitment made to the public is a core part of his working style.

He said that roads form the backbone of any city, and without strong infrastructure, holistic development is not possible. He added that in the coming time, development works will be extended to every colony and every street of the constituency.

Mayor Vaneet Dhir said that with coordinated efforts between the Municipal Corporation and the constituency in-charge, development works are being completed at a fast pace in Jalandhar.

He added that the road construction carried out in Surya Enclave and Maharaja Ranjit Singh Avenue, Guru Gobind Singh Avenue will provide a permanent solution to the daily commuting problems faced by local residents.

On this occasion, members of the Shri Ram Mandir Committee including Pramod Bansal (President), Principal M.L. Aeri, Satish Aggarwal, Gulshan Aggarwal, Pawan Setia, Rahul Tandon, Sunil Sharma, Arvind Gupta, Gaininder Dutta, Rajan Gupta, Sanjeev Gupta, Lalit Gupta, Adarsh Sharma, Rajeev Bhaskar and Rajesh Khanna were present.

From the Gurudwara Sahib Committee, Harjinder Singh Bajwa (President), Iqbal Singh, Gurnam Singh, Talwinder Singh, Dr. N.P. Singh and Tarlochan Singh attended the programme.

Representing Surya Enclave, those present included Rajeev Dhamija (President), Colonel V.K. Sharma, Principal Pardeep Bhandari, Ramesh Vohra, Dr. Raminder Singh, Rajesh Kumar, Narinder Sahni, Sudesh Chib, G.S. Pabla, Sudesh Pandey, Prof. Arvind Trivedi, Rakesh Gupta, Amit Jaggi, Rajesh Kareer, Mohit Kareer, Vikas Kalia, Varun Sharma, K.S. Virdi, Rajiv Sharma and Prithi Pal Singh.

From Maharaja Ranjit Singh Avenue, Joginder Singh (President), Pankaj Sharma, Tarlochan Singh Bittu, Satish Nanda, Santokh Singh, along with several other prominent citizens, were present.

At the conclusion of the programme, local residents expressed their gratitude for the road development works and stated that this project clearly proves that development in Jalandhar Central is no longer limited to announcements, but is visibly taking shape on the ground.
