PM Modi’s Jalandhar visit on schedule, to visit Dera Sachkhand Ballan on Feb 1

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Jalandhar is on schedule. Reports of PM Modi's Jalandhar visit likely to be postponed went viral. It happened after BJP leader and Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa on Friday announced that PM Modi will visit Punjab on February 2.

Sirsa arrived in Chandigarh on Friday to review preparations ahead of the Prime Minister’s Punjab visit. Speaking to the media, he said that PM Modi shares an emotional connect with Dera Sachkhand Ballan, which is why the visit holds special significance.

Notably, earlier, Union MoS Ravneet Singh Bittu had announced that PM Modi will be visiting Jalandhar on February 1.

However, a senior official has informed True Scoop that PM Modi's visit to Jalandhar will be held as per schedule and there is no delay or postponement.

PM Modi's schedule in Jalandhar

Prime Minister Modi is expected to be at Dera Sachkhand Ballan for approximately 50 minutes after 4 pm. During this time, he will meet with the Dera head, Sant Niranjan Das Ji, and seek his blessings. The Prime Minister may also address the congregation present at the event.

Special preparations are being made at the Dera premises in view of the Prime Minister’s visit. A temporary helipad is being set up at the site. Reports suggest that Prime Minister’s helicopter will first land at Adampur Airport, from where he will travel by helicopter to Dera Sachkhand Ballan.

On the occasion of Sri Guru Ravidas Jayanti, a large-scale religious congregation is being organised at Dera Sachkhand Ballan, which is expected to witness the participation of a large number of devotees from Punjab and across the country.
