Residents of several key localities in Jalandhar are expected to experience a day-long power outage today, Monday, November 10, as the Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) has announced a scheduled maintenance shutdown on two major feeders 11KV Mandi Road Feeder and 11KV Railway Road Feeder.
According to the official notice, the power cut will last from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The affected areas under the Mandi Road Feeder include Santoshi Nagar, Qazi Mandi, Mandi Road, Rishi Nagar, Partap Road, Bhagat Singh Chowk, BKB, Railway Road, and Inderprasth Mohalla.
Meanwhile, consumers connected to the Railway Road Feeder particularly those in BDS Nagar, Dhan Mohalla, and BKB will also face disruption during the same hours.
Officials stated that the shutdown is part of routine maintenance work aimed at improving supply reliability and system efficiency. PSPCL has requested residents to make necessary arrangements and has expressed regret for the inconvenience caused.
