Punjab, the sacred land of Gurus and India’s proud ‘breadbasket’, is now shining on the global stage under the inspiring leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann’s government.
The world’s biggest companies – from Japan, America, Germany, Netherlands, and UK – are seeing their golden future in Punjab’s fertile soil and progressive policies. Since March 2022, investment proposals worth ₹1.23 lakh crore and 4.7 lakh job opportunities have taken Punjab to new heights. This is the new Punjab – the Punjab of your dreams, where every village, every city, every family is experiencing waves of prosperity!
“Punjab is the land where hard work bears fruit and courage blossoms. Our government came with a promise of employment, dignity and prosperity for every Punjabi, and we are delivering it to every household,” Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said with pride and passion.
Punjab has attracted over ₹18,000 crore in foreign investment since 2021, including more than ₹8,000 crore in new projects in 2025 alone. Global giants like Amazon, Nissan-Renault, Siemens, De Heus and PepsiCo have chosen Punjab as the world’s next big investment destination, which is a matter of pride for every Punjabi.
The light of development is spreading in every corner of Punjab. In Rajpura, Patiala, Netherlands’ century-old company De Heus has started a ₹150 crore state-of-the-art animal feed plant, completed in just two years. It will provide jobs to over 300 youth and create new markets for farmers in Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan, bringing smiles to their faces. In Mohali, Amazon Web Services announced ₹7,000 crore AI and data centers, which will provide high-tech jobs to over 500 youth, making Punjab a star of Digital India. In Ludhiana, Japan-France’s Nissan-Renault started a ₹500 crore electric vehicle plant, bringing employment for 300 youth and a green future to Punjab’s roads.
In Bathinda and Fazilka, Germany’s Siemens Energy created 200 jobs and new environmental hope with ₹450 crore solar-wind projects. In Sangrur, PepsiCo’s ₹150 crore food processing expansion created 100 jobs and promoted sustainable packaging. Brands like Nestlé, Hindustan Unilever, Cargill and Freudenberg have also invested ₹3,000 crore and created 3,000 jobs since 2023, putting every Punjab family on the path to prosperity.
The Mann government has made Punjab a business paradise. The FastTrack Punjab portal, India’s fastest single-window system, offers over 150 services and has made red tape history. Under the Punjab Right to Business Act, projects up to ₹125 crore get approval in 5 days and full permission in 45 days, winning investors’ hearts. Cheap electricity, land and tax breaks have made Punjab the first love of investment.
“We’ve uprooted bureaucracy from its roots. Punjab is now giving wings to every youth’s dreams,” CM Mann said with pride.
Punjab is no longer just a story of farms. Leveraging 17% of India’s wheat production, brands like Nestlé and PepsiCo are making it a food processing hub. Auto clusters of Freudenberg and Nissan-Renault are shining in Ludhiana-Rupnagar. With Siemens and AWS, Punjab leads the country in solar and technology. The proposed film city in Amritsar and tourism policies are opening doors to new possibilities.
Punjab’s GSDP has reached ₹8.91 lakh crore, marking 9% annual growth. With just 1.5% of the land, Punjab contributes brilliantly to the country’s economy.
These investments are not only bringing jobs but also boosting exports and protecting the environment with water-saving technologies. Employment and dignity for every Punjabi is now a reality, the result of the ‘AAP’ government’s promise and hard work.
CM Bhagwant Mann has invited the world to the Progressive Punjab Investors Summit in Mohali on March 13-15, 2026. “This summit is a celebration of Punjab’s strength. We will bring over ₹20,000 crore investment in AI, semiconductors and green energy. Come, let’s build a new Punjab together!”
CM Bhagwant Mann and the ‘AAP’ government have shown that Punjab is everyone’s heartbeat. Here every youth gets a job, every farmer gets respect, and every family gets prosperity. Punjab is now the world’s investment destination – a land that is realizing the dream of a new India with the inspiration of the Gurus and the hard work of Punjabis.
