Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has called a Cabinet Meeting on December 20 i.e. on Saturday. Punjab Cabinet Meeting is slated to take place around 3 pm. The meeting will take place at CM's residence. Several important decisions may be taken at the cabinet meeting.
For example, final decision on rolling out of Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojana in January 2026 can be taken in the meeting. Under this scheme, people of Punjab will get Rs 10 lakh worth of cashless medical treatment in empaneled government as well as private hospital.
Apart from this, discussion on VB-G RAM G Bill can also take place among CM Mann and Cabinet leaders. It is pertinent to mention here that Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Friday said the state government would convene a special assembly session on the issue of 'B-G RAM G Bill replacing MGNREGA' in the second week of January.
Discussion on CM Mann's pre-poll promise i.e. to give Rs 1000 to women of Punjab can also be done.
