The Government of Punjab has placed Kamal Kishor Yadav, IAS and Jaspreet Singh, IAS under suspension with immediate effect under the All India Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1969.
The orders were issued from Chandigarh on 7 February 2026. During the suspension period, their headquarters will remain at Chandigarh, and they will be entitled to subsistence allowance as per rules.
“So far, no reason has been given for the suspension of these two officers, who are among the senior-most IAS officers in Punjab.”
