Government of Punjab has issued a fresh administrative reshuffle involving several IAS officers with immediate effect in view of administrative requirements and according to official order issued by Department of Personnel (IAS Branch) Ramvir, IAS who was serving as Administrative Secretary, Information & Public Relations and also holding additional charge as Commissioner, Jalandhar Division has now been posted as Commissioner, Jalandhar Division, Jalandhar and he has also been given additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Water Supply & Sanitation Department after the relieving of Nilkanth S. Avhad, IAS for Central Deputation.
Meanwhile Ghanshyam Thori currently serving as Secretary, Health & Family Welfare and Mission Director of the National Health Mission, Punjab has been assigned an additional responsibility as Secretary, Medical Education & Research and will take over the charge in place of Puneet Goyal.
As part of the reshuffle Puneet Goyal who was serving as Special Secretary, Medical Education & Research has now been posted as Special Secretary, Information & Public Relations. He has also been given the additional charge of Director, Information & Public Relations replacing Akshita Gupta.
Further Akshita Gupta who was serving as Director, Information & Public Relations has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Rupnagar against a vacant post.
