The Punjab Government has issued new transfer orders for three senior IPS officers on administrative grounds, with immediate effect. This directive, dated 10 September 2025, comes from the Department of Home Affairs (Home-I Branch) and has the approval of the competent authority.
Jagadale Nilambari Vijay, IPS (RR:2008)
Previously DIG Counter Intelligence, Punjab, SAS Nagar, has now additionally been appointed as DIG Faridkot Range, Faridkot, against a vacant post. She will continue as DIG Counter Intelligence in SAS Nagar.
Deepak Pareek, IPS (RR:2014)
Shifted from SSP Tarn Taran to the post of AIG SSOC, Punjab, SAS Nagar.
Ravjot Grewal, IPS (RR:2015)
Transferred from Joint Director IVC & SU, Vigilance Bureau, Punjab, to SSP Tarn Taran, replacing Sh. Deepak Pareek, IPS.
Immediate effect & official instructions
All officers affected by the order have been directed to join their new place of posting immediately. The order, signed by Additional Chief Secretary Alok Shekhar and issued by Under Secretary Parmjit Singh, has already been circulated to central and state authorities for necessary action.
