While the rain spell offers relief from the heatwaves during the summers, it also comes with traffic disruptions and some other commuting problems.
Amid the monsoon season, people are advised to keep an eye on the weather updates by the Weather Department before planning the day to avoid stepping out when not needed. And for this week, here is the list of the weather predictions across Punjab by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) Chandigarh.
According to the IMD, certain bordering regions witnessed heavy rainfall on Tuesday. The regions that recorded rain were Pathankot, Hoshiarpur, Gurdaspur, Nawanshahar, Rupnagar, Patiala, Fatehgarh Sahib, and SAS Nagar (Mohali).
On Wednesday, the regions that will notice rainfall will decrease, and the majority of the state will witness a dry spell. Accordingly, the regions that might witness rainfall are Pathankot, Hoshiarpur, and Rupnagar.
