With November 2025 knocking the doors, winters are all set to intensify in Punjab and many other states. Weather department has already predicted that Punjab is set to witness December-like winters in the month of November. However, in the past few especially after Diwali, Punjab is witnessing both cool and warm temperature. Meaning, while early morning in Punjab is witnessing winter chills, while the afternoon are generally warm.
In the meantime, weather website AccuWeather has predicted that Punjab may witness two days of rainfall including thunderstorm. Yes! you heard it right. Punjab thunderstorm in November 2025 has been predicted and most probably winters in state are likely to intensify after that.

As per AccuWeather forecast, Jalandhar will witness two days of rainfall i.e. on November 4 and November 5.
The weather website predicts that on November 4, Jalandhar will witness a late night shower. On November 5, Jalandhar will witness early morning thunderstorm. Notably, there are 55 percent chances of thunderstorm in Jalandhar on November 5.
There are similar prediction for Ludhiana as well. There are 55 percent chances of thunderstorm in Ludhiana on November 5, 2025. On November 6 as well, pocket rain may be witnessed in some parts of Ludhiana.
For Amritsar, there is a whopping 72% chances of thunderstorm on November 5. The district may witness pocket rain in some parts on November 6 as well.
Mohali is also expected to witness thunderstorm on November 5. Similar predictions are there for almost all district of Punjab.
Interestingly, after November 5 or November 6, the minimum temperature is also expected to drop much more.
For instance, AccuWeather predicts that while the minimum temperature Mohali is expected to be at 19°C on November 4, it's lowest temperature will start touching 13°C from November 6, which is a sharp drop in temperature. Hence, it can be said that winters in Punjab will intensify after two days of showers in the first week of November 2025.
