Punjab is currently experiencing dry weather and according to the India Meteorological Department, Chandigarh on April 13 the weather remained dry across the state with the highest temperature recorded was 33.5°C in Bathinda (AMFU) while the lowest temperature was 14.5°C also recorded in Bathinda.
The IMD has said that most days in the coming week will remain dry but light rainfall is likely at isolated places on April 16 and 17.
April 16 & 17: Light rain may occur in some areas of Pathankot, Gurdaspur and Hoshiarpur districts.
Rest of the days: Weather will stay dry across Punjab.
Temperature rise: Day temperatures are likely to increase by 4–6°C over the next 6 days which means it will gradually get hotter.
