Sanjeev Arora dismisses rumours of joining BJP, says “Not in touch with Raghav Chadha for months”

Reaffirms loyalty to AAP & confirms full cooperation with ED probe

Punjab Cabinet Minister Sanjeev Arora on Monday firmly dismissed speculation regarding his alleged move to the Bharatiya Janata Party, reaffirming his continued association with the ruling Aam Aadmi Party. Addressing media persons, Arora clarified that there was no question of him leaving AAP and he would continue to serve as a Cabinet Minister. He also stated that he has not been in touch with former AAP leader Raghav Chadha for the past six months.

On reports related to the Enforcement Directorate, the minister said he was fully prepared to cooperate with any ongoing investigation and would extend complete support to the authorities if required. Arora’s clarification comes amid circulating political speculation about internal party dynamics and possible leadership shifts. He, however, rejected all such claims, terming them baseless, and reiterated his commitment to the AAP leadership and its ideology.

The minister’s remarks are seen as an attempt to put an end to ongoing rumours linking him with political realignment ahead of key developments in Punjab politics.
