Reports of firing at Aryan homeopathic clinic near Jalandhar’s Verka Milk Plant are coming in light. According to the information by the sources the shots were fired late at night on Sunday i.e. 21 June 2026. Few shots were fired on the shop that led to a hole in the shutter of the clinic and breakage of glass inside the clinic. The shop owner came to know about the incident in the morning when he opened the clinic. This incident caused a stir in the area. As soon as the police was informed about the firing, they took action and reported at the spot for investigation.
While talking to the locals of the area, the worker of the neighboring shop Sachdeva Property Dealer said that the owner of the clinic had closed the clinic on Saturday around 8:30 PM as usual and left for home. While the clinic and all the shops in the locality were closed on Sunday. The information was given to the police by the same worker of Sachdeva Property Dealer who went to open his shop at 8:00 in the morning at noticed a bullet mark on the shutter and broken pieces of glass outside the clinic.
In a conversation with the neighbors, a woman who owns a shop in the market said that when she arrived in the morning she saw police present there and the clinic was sealed. She added that she had no information about the firing but had heard it from people. Harwinder Singh, owner of another shop said that information about the miscreant and the time of incident is not yet clear as the whole market was shut because of Sunday. No harm was reported to anybody as the market was completely shut.
The owner of Aryan Homeopathic Clinic, Dr. Sandeep Sharma confirmed that he had shut down his shop on Saturday around 8:30 PM with his wife and left for home. They got to know about this incident when their son Aryan went to open the shop on Monday morning and noticed the broken glass. Upon investigating about the glass, he further noticed the bullet mark on the shutter of the clinic and called the police immediately. He also added that the police said the bullet has to be inside the shop and are searching for the evidence from the CCTV footages of nearby shops. The owner of the shop also confirmed that they did not receive any threat calls in the past and only the glass of clinic was damaged. The investigation on the motive of the attack is still in process.
