Satinder Sartaj Pays Tribute To Guru Tegh Bahdur Ji As He Sings Song For Movie ‘Hind Di Chadar’

Known for his deeply poetic Punjabi compositions, Satinder Sartaaj has shared his voice for upcoming movie, Hind Di Chadar. chose to render this song in Hindi, making it accessible to people across India. The composition is an ode to courage, compassion, and sacrifice, has struck a powerful chord.

Baweja Studios has returned with another potent animated film, Hind Di Chadar - Guru Ladho Re, following the enormous success of Chaar Sahibzaade. The film, which was directed by Rowena Baweja and produced by Baweja Studios and Eros International, honours the life and selfless sacrifice of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, the Ninth Sikh Guru. The film, which is billed as the prelude and last installment in the Chaar Sahibzaade trilogy, is expected to be an emotional and visual masterpiece that honours bravery, religion, and humanity.

The teaser, launched just ahead of Harman Baweja’s birthday, offers a glimpse into a breathtakingly crafted world, steeped in history and spirituality. Set in the 17th century, Hind Di Chadar – Guru Ladho Re traces Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s spiritual journey from Bakala where he was revealed as the true Guru to his fearless stand against Emperor Aurangzeb’s tyranny. In a time marked by oppression and forced conversions, Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji became a beacon of resistance, defending the universal right to freedom of faith and compassion. 

The 350th martyrdom anniversary (Shaheedi Divas) of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, the ninth Sikh Guru, is being commemorated with extensive events across India in November 2025. Guru Tegh Bahadur was publicly executed on November 24, 1675, in Chandni Chowk, Delhi, on the orders of the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb for refusing to convert to Islam and for defending the religious freedom of non-Muslims, including Kashmiri Pandits.
