According to family members, they were returning home when their Activa was suddenly hit with considerable force by another vehicle.
The impact was so severe that several people travelling on the scooter sustained critical injuries.

The injured were initially rushed to the Civil Hospital in Phillaur for treatment. However, due to the seriousness of their condition, they were reportedly referred to a major private hospital in Ludhiana.
Despite efforts to save them, three people, including a child, reportedly succumbed to their injuries.
