Late Monday night an accident took place in Jalandhar’s Sundar Nagar, where an uncontrolled Bolero vehicle driven by a minor rammed into a shop named ‘Shivam Mobile World’. As per reports, a woman and her two children were inside the shop when the accident took place. Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the incident, however significant damage has been reported to the shop and its inventory.
A crowd gathered around the shop following the accident and the driver took advantage of the situation and fled the scene. Locals alerted the police officials and investigating officer Nirmal Singh from Police Station 8 reached the spot and initiated a probe. As of now the vehicle has been taken into custody and appropriate action based on the victim’s statement would follow.
