Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains on Wednesday extended winter vacations 2025 in all schools of the state. Harjot Singh Bains announced that due to increasing cold and dense fog in the state, Punjab Government has decided to extend Winter Vacations 2025.
Bains further highlighted that keeping health and safety of students and staff in mind, on directions of CM Bhagwant Singh Mann, schools of Punjab will now remained closed till January 7.
For the unversed, winter vacations in schools of Punjab were announced from December 24 to December 31, 2025. It means, Mann Government has extended holidays by 7 days.
