After the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi’s visit to Dera Sachkhand Ballan in Jalandhar district on Sunday, a distasteful video of a woman has been going viral on the social media. As per reports, the video that has been making rounds on the internet has surfaced from Jandu Singha village located in Jalandhar district. The video features a woman using objectionable and abusive language against the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Sant Niranjan Dass of Dera Ballan.
Following the upload of the video on social media a flood of outrage was seen among various organizations and local residents. In regards to the video, residents of Jandu Singha, including Joginder Pal Singh, Sunny Jassal, Balvir Kumar, and Ranjit Chopra have submitted a written complaint at the Adampur Police Station.
The complainants state that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi had visited the Dera Ballan on Sunday evening, following which the accused woman, identified as Harpreet from Jandu Singha made a video using offensive language against the Saint Niranjan Das and the Prime Minister of India. Reports claim that the video was posted on the woman’s WhatsApp handle as a status.
Upon learning about the video, the complainants reached the Adampur Police Station and demanded a strict action against the woman. Following the complaint, the police took the woman into custody and brought her to the police station. Reports reveal that the process of registering a case has been initiated and the police have begun their investigation.
