Hero MotoCorp Announces Price Increase for Bikes and Scooters
Admin
Hero MotoCorp, a leading two-wheeler manufacturer, has announced a price increase for its bikes and scooters’ special models.
The ex-showroom prices will be raised by approximately 1.5% and will come into effect from July 3rd.
The price hike is attributed to increased input costs, which is the primary reason for the adjustment.
This marks the second price increase by Hero MotoCorp this year, following the earlier hike in March due to new emission norms.
The new prices will vary across different models and will be determined based on market conditions.
Hero MotoCorp periodically reviews prices to minimize the impact on customers and plans to introduce new financing offers to support them.
The company is actively working on updating its vehicles to comply with the BS6 Phase 2 norms, including the installation of OBD 2 devices.
Positive monsoon conditions and favorable economic indicators are expected to drive increased demand and sales during the festive season.
In May 2023, Hero MotoCorp reported a sales growth of 6.7% compared to the previous year, with 519,474 units sold.
