Honda Launches Updated Honda Shine 125 with OBD2 Norms in India

Honda has launched the updated Honda Shine 125 motorcycle in India, now compliant with OBD2 norms, offering improved emissions control and enhanced performance for environmentally conscious riders.
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the updated Honda Shine 125 in India, compliant with OBD2 norms.
The Shine 125 now offers a mileage of 55 kmpl, making it fuel-efficient and economical.
In addition to running on E-20 petrol, the bike comes with a special warranty package of 10 years, including 3 years of standard warranty and 7 years of optional warranty.
The updated model is available in two variants: Shine 125 Drum-OBD2 priced at ₹79,800 (ex-showroom Delhi) and Shine 125 Disc-OBD2 priced ₹4,000 higher than the drum variant (₹83,800, ex-showroom Delhi).
The new Shine 125 is offered in five color options: Black, Geny Grey Metallic, Matte Axis Grey, Rebel Red Metallic, and Decent Blue Metallic.
Equipped with an updated 123.94cc, 4-stroke, SI, BS-VI engine tuned as per OBD2 standards, the Shine 125 generates 10.3 HP of power at 7500RPM and 11NM of torque at 6000RPM. It comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
The engine features Honda’s eSP technology, side-stand engine cut-off feature, ACG silent start, and friction reduction, ensuring smooth performance.
The ground clearance of the Shine 125 is 162mm, wheelbase is 1,285mm, and the seat length is 651mm. It is equipped with a Combi-Brake System (CBS) with equalizer for efficient braking.
