One of the notable features in macOS 14 is the introduction of widgets, a feature borrowed from the mobile side of Apple’s ecosystem.
As for MacOS, Apple previewed its latest iteration called “Sonoma.” The new system will come with some changes to widgets, those little windows that show information from your apps at a glance.
A new feature called Contact Posters in iOS17 was also announced, which will let users design a screen that shows up when they call another iPhone user, including a photo.
The event also saw a host of other revelations including operating systems of its different lines of products, including, iPad, Mac, TV, and Watch among others.
Apple has launched the 15-inch MacBook Air. It’s 11.5mm thick, weighs 1.3kg, and is powered by Apple’s own M2 chipset. It is priced at $3499 and can be ordered now.
Apple’s mixed-reality headset, Vision Pro, is official. Using eyes, head, and voice, you control apps and other tools. It will start at $3,499 and launch early next year.
The biggest takeaways are the Vision Pro headset and the 15-inch MacBook Air.
