Gangubai’s Tale: ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, a 2022 release helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, stars Shantanu Maheshwari, Vijay Raaz, Jim Sarbh, and Ajay Devgn, diving into the life of Gangubai Kothewali, a figure from S. Hussain Zaidi’s “Mafia Queens of Mumbai”.

The Pushpa Series: Allu Arjun’s film, directed by Sukumar, is the first part in the series, portraying Pushpa Raj’s rise within the red sandalwood smuggling world. Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna join him in pivotal roles.
