"For you, my friend , are the biggest feminist I know" : Taapsee Pannu comes out in support of Anurag Kashyap

The past few hours have indeed been all about director Anurag Kashyap where he is currently facing sexual assault allegations from actor Payal Ghosh

After Payal Ghosh accused Anurag Kashyap of sexually harassing her, Anurag's good friends Taapsee Pannu and Swara Bhasker come in support of him. Apparently, Payal gave an interview to a leading news channel stating that the Manmarziyaan director tried to force himself on her. She also appealed to the higher authorities to take strict action against him. However, in a series of tweets, Anurag denied all the accusations and instead accused Payal of lying and maligning his image.

But now, Anurag's film Manmarziyan"s actress and his good friend Taapsee Pannu comes in support of him. On Sunday, Taapsee took to social media to share a picture with Kashyap and called him the biggest feminist of all. She wrote, "For you, my friend, are the biggest feminist I know. See you on the sets soon of yet another piece of art that shows how powerful and significant women are in the world you create (hug emoji)."

Similarly, Swara Bhasker too came in support of Anurag. She shared a video of the director speaking about women empowerment and feminism and wrote, "CONSEQUENCES aa gaye."

Actor Payal Ghosh went on to write, ''@anuragkashyap72 has forced himself on me and extremely badly. @PMOIndia @narendramodi ji, kindly take action and let the country see the demon behind this creative guy. I am aware that it can harm me and my security is at risk. Pls help!'' Soon after he tweet, actress Kangana Ranaut came out in her support and said 'Every voice matters.'

Kashyap himself went on to address these allegations with a series of tweets and mentioned how it is entirely baseless.
