Actor Shoaib Ibrahim's Father’s Left Side Paralysed After Brain Stroke, Currently In ICU

After his father suffered a brain stroke, television actor Shoaib Ibrahim took him to the hospital, where he is being treated in the intensive care unit and monitored by physicians. "The next 72 hours after a brain stroke are important," the actor explains.

Sharing video messages on Instagram stories, Shoaib said, “The next 72 hours after brain stroke are critical. Patients with such conditions are kept under observation in the ICU so probably he will be there tomorrow and day after as well. My dad has a clot in his brain and it is a small one but the place where it has formed is an issue of concern. His left side is paralysed. There is also issue in his speech. I’m unable to meet him since he is the ICU and we are not allowed there. I am there with him in the hospital. I meet him twice in a day, once in the morning and then in the evening. Please keep us in your prayers.”

After his father suffered a brain stroke on Monday, television actor Shoaib Ibrahim provided an update on his father's condition. Shoaib took to social media to reveal that his father has a clot in his brain, which has left his left side paralysed.

Shoaib previously said that his father had suffered a catastrophic brain stroke, following which he was brought to a hospital and is currently receiving treatment. He stated that his father is in the intensive care unit and would be there for the next 2-3 days. The actor had requested prayers and support from his fans and followers, stating that his father was admitted to the hospital's ICU.

He had written, “Need you Prayers & strength once again!! Papa has had a brain stroke today morning and is in the ICU presently!! Please please aap sab dua kijiyega ki Allah unhe theek kar dein (Please pray for his speedy recovery).” His wife, actor Dipika Kakar re-shared his post on her Instagram Stories.

Shoaib and Dipika frequently post about their family life on social media. Shoaib recently shared a reel with his parents and received a lot of positive feedback from his admirers.

He also wished his parents on their 36th wedding anniversary saying, “Allah aap dono ko humesha aise hi Khush rakhe, Salamat rakhe🤲”.

Shoaib's father had surgery in February and had been monitored for a long period.

Shoaib performed a live session with his followers on YouTube a few days ago, reminiscing about his early days in the industry. He had revealed that he had decided to pursue a career in the entertainment industry against his father's desires.

“Dad advised me to finish my education first, and then we'd see what happens,” Shoaib said. My struggle began in Bhopal, where I knew no one in the film industry. I used to go to as many auditions as I could. I knew they were fake auditions, and I knew they'd demand money, but I'd go go merely to practise delivering dialogues.”

Shoaib is best known for his roles as Prem Bhardwaj in Sasural Simar Ka and as a participant in Nach Baliye 8. He was most recently seen in a single Yaar Dua with TV actress Dipika Kakar.
