All is not well in Pakistan as the country is turned out to be a 'Banana Republic' and even a small dissent turns out to be a matter of brawl. A similar thing was witnessed at a private hotel in Islamabad when an elderly supporter of former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan got involved in a verbal spat with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party dissident Noor Alam Khan. The verbal spat soon turned into a brawl after Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party dissident Noor Alam Khan was called a 'turncoat' by the elderly man.

The Islamabad Iftar Party viral video is doing rounds on social media as the video shows  Alam Khan, along with PPP leaders Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, Nadeem Afzal Chan, and Faisal Karim Kundi beating the elderly man and throwing food items at him. As per reports, the elderly man who was beaten by the PPP leaders is from Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party worker.

State of Civil War looms over Pakistan after Imran Khan's ouster

It is pertinent to mention here that Imran Khan was removed from the Pakistan Prime Minister's post during the midnight no-confidence motion vote in the National Assembly. The no-confidence voting against Imran Khan took place after the country's Supreme Court termed National Assembly Speaker's decision to dissolve the cabinet as 'unconstitutional'. As a result, Imran Khan's supporters started staging protests against the newly-elected PM of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif.

Imran Khan's PTI workers held demonstrations in several Sindh towns of Pakistan on Monday against the installation of an 'imported government' at the Centre. On the other hand, after the win of the joint opposition, the PPP workers staged rallies to celebrate their success in the no-confidence motion.
