After the Punjab police nabbed two men with 38 KG of heroin in Nawanshahr yesterday coming from Gujarat.

The politics on the matter has begun with the AAP national convenor targeting the Gujarat government saying who is responsible for running the drug cartel in the state of Gujarat, he went on to ask who is bringing such a huge amount of drugs into the state.

“Just think how big will be the amount that might have been going untraced, such a huge nexus is not possible without high profile individuals.”

Upon investigating the truck driver Kulwinder Kinda revealed that he was bringing the drugs from Gujarat’s Bhuj.

He confessed during the investigation that a foreign-based smuggler Rajesh Soni Khatri called him on Telegram and asked him to receive the drugs from the location after which upon reaching the site an anonymous person kept the drugs inside the toolbox of the truck.

The AAP is eyeing big with the upcoming assembly elections in the home state of Prime Minister Modi and his second in command Amit Shah.

Arvind Kejriwal sees the busting of the drug nexus as a big opportunity in targeting the BJP-led state government to establish his political position among Gujratis ahead of the big election.
