Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput and Bhumi Pednekar starrer film 'Sonchiriya' has completed 2 years on Monday. The film was released in theaters on 1 March 2019. On the occasion of the second anniversary of the film, Bhumi Pednekar has remembered Sushant Singh Rajput. During a special conversation with a Hindi dailyDainik Bhaskar, Bhumi shared many things related to Sushant and this film.

Bhumi said, "I got an opportunity to meet and work with a creative person like Sushant Singh Rajput because of this film. He was a very good person and a hardworking artist. The experience of exchanging notes with him was the best for me." 'Sonchiriya' gave me an opportunity to work with the best artists and people I love heartily. Working with Khushiya and Sushant, a little girl playing the role of 'Sonchiriya', is an experience that I always cherish. Will keep doing it. Khushiya has become a part of my life forever."

"Sushant's mind is rarely seen in Bollywood. Sushant had become a friend and he was such a person, which I began to appreciate very quickly. He was a very special person and an actor with a restless mind. We literally spent the best time on the set. During his entire experience of our 'Sonchiriya', his unshaven mind with impotent thoughts impressed me a lot," added Bhumi.

Bhumi also said, "'Sonchiriya' will always be a special film in my film career. Because this film has taught me very valuable lessons. It taught me to dream, to explore new and to take big risks with every film as an artist. Director Abhishek Chaubey showed me everything that I can achieve if I trust myself and take myself to the end. I thank him for trusting me as an artist."

"Movies like 'Sonchidiya' are rarely made, which comes only once in the life of an artist. I am lucky that I got a chance to do this project. Abhishek Choubey's perspective on this film was so different and real that it really blew my senses. The love and respect that I have received from people all over the world for this project is truly worthy."
