The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) claimed on Saturday that the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has released three detainees, including kin of a prominent BJP leader and that the ship rave party raid was a "pre-planned conspiracy."

NCP National Spokesperson and Minority Affairs Minister Nawab Malik said that 11 individuals had been detained following the raid on the ship on October 2, including Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan.

"The NCB officials later allowed three detainees to leave that night. Those released are Rishabh Sachdev, the nephew of BJP leader Mohit Bharatiya (previously, Kamboj), Amir Furniturewala, and Pratik Gabha," asserted Malik demanding an explanation from the NCB over the release of these detainees.

He went on to say that the trio of Sachdev, Furniturewala and Gabha had invited Aryan Khan to the ship party.

"However, after arresting 11 people, the same three people who had brought Aryan Khan to the party were given permission to leave." "This reveals that the entire fraudulent raid on the ship was a pre-planned conspiracy to entice and trap high-profile people," Malik said.

Several BJP politicians from Delhi and Maharashtra made urgent calls to NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede for the release of the three detainees", claimed NCP leader.

He continued, "Who and why were the people calling the NCB that night? The call detail records (CDR) data of Wankhede plus Sachdev, Furniturewala, and Gabha must be investigated by Maharashtra and Mumbai police."

In response to Malik's allegation, Shiv Sena leader Kishore Tiwari, who has been appointed as a Minister of State, claimed that the chain of events revealed thus far indicate that the NCB has turned into a 'Team B of the BJP.'

"I demand that the Maharashtra Police arrest Sameer Wankhede immediately for flouting all norms to undertake such fraudulent operations involving prominent celebrities in order to remain in the media spotlight and divert attention away from the drug seizure at Mundra Port," Tiwari said.

Congress leader Sachin Sawant also called for action and asked "Who was involved in the cruise ship raids, how a relative of a BJP leader was released from custody, and how BJP activists like Gosavi and Bhanushali were involved in the raids and later taken as independent witnesses."

"The series of revelations based on documents and video evidence points to a large conspiracy and collusion between the BJP and the NCB," said Sawant urging the MVA government to investigate the entire conspiracy.

However, BJP Leader of Opposition (Council) Pravin Darekar denied the NCP's allegations, claiming they were made to gain attention and out of annoyance after Malik's son-in-law was arrested in a drug case by the NCB.
