BSF Amritsar Headquarter Firing: Open firing as 5 Soliders were killed, 10 injured in a BSF mess

There is news of firing in BSF mess in Khasa, Amritsar, Punjab. 5 soldiers were killed in the BSF mess, while 10 soldiers were injured. At present, all the injured have been admitted to Guru Nanak Dev Hospital, where they are undergoing treatment.

There is an atmosphere of panic due to the news of firing in the BSF mess. On getting information about the incident, the police reached the spot and started an investigation. The constable who fired the shots has been identified as 

Settapa SK. 

As reported that the accused jawan was angry with the imposition of high duty. In a fit of rage, the jawan carried out the incident with his duty rifle.  It has been learned that the accused jawan continued firing in the mess for a long time. 

During this, indiscriminate firing was also done on the vehicle of the BSF officer standing here, but fortunately, the officer's life was saved.

The accused BSF jawan later also shot himself near the hospital located at BSF Headquarters, injuring the jawan who fired indiscriminately.
