The coronavirus in India is not over yet, though there is a little relief from the Corona positive cases reported in the recent past. If left unmanaged, it can be off-tracked and lose the right path.

In view of the rising cases of coronavirus in some states of the country, the Union government on Wednesday asked the states and Union Territories to reconsider the ban in view of the upcoming festivals season.

In a letter, Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan urged the states to impose local restrictions and actively consider banning public gatherings.

A letter from the Union Ministry of Health to the Chief Ministers and Administrators of all the states in the country said, "The Indian Council of Medical Research and the National Center for Disease Control has organized a large-scale program.

In a letter signed by Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan, further said, "I would like to reiterate that the five guidelines for strict adherence to the 'Test-Track-Treatment-Vaccination and Guideline Prevention Guidelines' any laxity in strictly adhering to the multiplication strategy will have a detrimental effect on the enthusiasm our country has received so far.

Earlier, the Union Health Ministry had urged the states to impose local restrictions before the upcoming festival season in the country. In the letter, Bhushan said, "In view of the upcoming festivals, it is strongly advised that the states should consider using the powers vested in them under Section 22 of the Public Inspection and Disaster Management Act, 2005 to impose local restrictions."
