The brand new Netflix thriller Devil in Ohio is all set to hit the web space this Friday. Inspired by real-life events taken from Daria Polatin’s book by the same name is a multi-starrer series featuring the likes of Emily Deschanel, Stacey Farber, Alisha Newton, and Sam Jaeger among others.
Author Polatin is serving as the showrunner, executive producer, and lead writer for the show. While Rachel Miller and Andrew Wilder, Ian Hay, and Jadene Stojak Babcock are producing this mystery thriller.
The production for this upcoming mystery thriller started way back in September 2021 in Vancouver and was completed as early as December 2021.
The story of this series revolves around the character Mae, whose refuge in psychiatrist Dr. Suzanne Mathis’s home turns the family’s life upside down as Mae is doing all she can to Jules’s (The doctor’s daughter) life.
The trailer release in August set the tone of how things are going to unfold in the series. The clip showed the nefarious cult that Mae escaped.
The trailer of the series also teases the dangers that await Suzanne once the investigations start. Moreover, Mae herself seems to be developing an obsession with Suzanne and with Jules, Suzanne's daughter.
The release of the series on September 2nd on Netflix will also present the dark revelation of the story with around 8 episodes each 45 minutes long.
