The England team, which led 1-0 in the four-Test series against India, has announced the names of 12 players for the second Test starting on Saturday. Fast bowlers James Anderson and Dom Bess played in the first Test are excluded. He has been replaced by Stuart Broad and Moeen Ali. In the first Test match played in Chennai itself, James Anderson took five wickets. In India's second innings, he dismissed Shubman Gill and Ajinkya Rahane in the same over. Despite this, he has been left out of the second Test squad. The third test match is day-night. The management of England believes that in the day-night match, the ball will swing more and it is necessary to have Anderson there. So he is rested from the second Test match.

Dom Bess also took a total of five wickets in the first Test. However, he has to sit out after Moeen Ali is fit. Bess took four wickets in the first Test, including captain Virat Kohli in India's first innings. However, he was not able to bowl regularly and bowled several full-length balls. Apart from this, Moeen Ali is also a better batsman than Bess. Moeen did not play in the first two Tests against Sri Lanka and the first Test against India due to coronavirus.

Stuart Broad is expected to play in the second Test match. Along with him, one of the other fast bowlers, Oli Stone or Chris Woakes, can get a chance. Ollie Stone has more speed. At the same time, Woakes has better control. Woakes is also good lower-order batsman. Ollie Stone can bowl regularly at speeds above 145 km / h.
