An FIR has been filed against Kunal Sabarwal, Managing Director of Hamilton group in Jalandhar on Tuesday. In a statement to the police, Amritpal Singh, a resident of village Foldiwal, said that he is an NRI. In the name of his wife Jagdish Kaur, they have 2 acres 4 Kanal 2 marle land in village Qadian Wali on a 66-foot road. The land has been fenced.
The land falls at the backside of Hamilton flats. When they came to see the ground, they found the driver running a JCB machine in his plot from Hamilton's backside. Moreover, they had dug a long ditch along the wall of Hamilton and by making a big pot, the dirty water of the flats from under the wall of Hamilton Flats was dumped in the pit in the ground. Due to this the soil of their land got contaminated.
When Amritpal asked the driver of the owner, he said that they have been asked by MD Kunal Sabarwal to do so. Amritpal alleged that this was done while trying to take possession of his land.
