New Delhi, Jan 8: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to launch India-Norway Ocean Dialogue was exchanged between India and Norway here on Tuesday.

"Collaborating on a common ocean strategy. MoU to launch India-Norway Ocean Dialogue was exchanged in presence of PM Narendra Modi and Norwegian PM Ms Erna Solberg for sustainable use of marine resources, bed mining, green technologies in shipping and marine activities," MEA spokesman Ravesh Kumar tweeted.

In a series of missives, MEA spokesman also highlighted about External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj's meeting with Australian Foreign Minister Marise Payne wherein both the leaders also discussed on Indo-Pacific issues.

"Reflecting close convergence in mutual views. EAM Sushma Swaraj & Australian FM Marise Payne took stock of defence & security partnership, discussed enhancing regional cooperation in Indo-Pacific, and collaboration in all aspects of the bilateral relationship," Mr Kumar wrote in the micro blogging site.
