Amidst the injury woes, the Indian Cricket Team has finally announced its playing XI for the Sydney Test. The penultimate game of the ongoing four-match series will get underway at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) in Sydney on Thursday (December 07).  Continuing its trend of announcing playing X1 a day prior to the match, Rohit Sharma is all set to make a comeback in the Indian Cricket Team.

Rohit Sharma is all set to make his comeback from injury at the SCG and will replace struggling Mayank Agarwal at the top. Rohit will partner with Shubman Gill to open the batting for India. Gill, who had replaced an out-of-form Prithvi Shaw in the second Test, did enough to nail his spot in the XI with scores of 45 and 35 not out in the two innings.

At the place of injured Umesh Yadav, Navdeep Saini gets the nod ahead of the other two (Natarajan and Thakur) after he reportedly impressed in the nets with the red cherry.
