In what can be called an abuse of power, a policeman was caught on camera brutally assaulting an elderly man at the Jabalpur Railway Station. The Jabalpur Railway Station viral video is spreading like a wildfire and people on social media are slamming the blatant abuse of power by the policeman on the elderly person. Following the Jabalpur railway station policeman viral video, the cop was reportedly suspended from duty.
In the Jabalpur Railway Station viral video, a cop can be seen mercilessly punching and kicking an elderly man in his face. Not only this, the cop shamelessly grabbed the elderly man by his legs and pulled towards onto the railway track dangling his head so that when the train arrives, his head gets crushed. The video of the incident, recorded by one of the passengers inside a stationary train, also showed the constable repeatedly kicking the elderly man's left hand.

As per the Times of India report, the cop has been identified as Anant Sharma posted at Lour Police Station at Rewa. The Jabalpur viral video is reportedly from platforms number 4-5 at the Itarsi end of the platform of the Jabalpur Railway Station. Now the question arises why the cop assault the elderly man blue and black?
Interestingly, RPF and GRP both have addressed the Jabalpur Viral Video and have different versions on why Rewa Police Constable Anant Sharma resorted to so much bratuallity. While the RPF states that the victim told them someone was abusing him and therefore he complained to the Policeman, however, he started beating him, on the other hand, the GRP states that the elderly man was intoxicated and was passing lewd comments to female passengers.
As of now, the Police Constable has been suspended and a department-level inquiry has been initiated against him.
