Earlier, in Mohali, two female unemployed teachers climbed a water tank to protest against the state government’s demand for a year-long job as Physical Training Instructors (PTI) in government schools.
Their protest continued on Karva Chauth as well. PTI Sippy Sharma, one of the protestors also shared her video in which she can be seen sitting on the Water Tank. She can be seen holding two Matkas in her hands. She said that she is so unfortunate that she has celebrated her first Karva Chauth on the water tank and her second also.

Sippy Sharma, a physical education teacher has been protesting since the Congress government. Earlier, she alleged that the Punjab government of AAP has been making false promises to them for seven months. She said that before the election, Arvind Kejriwal, the convener of the AAP, had visited the Mohali water tank and promised to provide jobs for all 646 PTIs if the AAP formed the government. However, they were cheated in the name of jobs.
Sippy Sharma said that before the elections, Bhagwant Mann and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal considered her as a sister. The Punjab government is still not paying attention to them even after this relationship. Even before this, Sippy Sharma had demanded from CM Mann to let her tie Rakhi to him, but the administration has not permitted her to do so. 646 PTI Teachers have been protesting for the job for a year.
