In a massive development, in which the NCB is trying to bust the kingpin of drug racket linked to Bollywood, Arjun Rampal might get a clean chit. The Narcotics Control Bureau on Monday grilled model-turned-actor, Arjun Rampal, in the ongoing probe into the drugs nexus with Bollywood being probed by the central agency. NCB grilled the actor for more than seven hours. NCB stated that t it has found discrepancies in Arjun's statements and might call the actor again.

Soon,  Arjun Rampal's statements to the NCB was leaked in the media in which the actor said that he is not the 'Arjun' the NCB is looking for. Actually, the drug agency found Arjun Rampal's brother-in-law Agisilaos Demetriades talking to someone by the name Arjun on WhatsApp and assumed it's the actor.

The NCB had seized two different tablets from Arjun's residence- one was Ultracet (a prescription medicine used to treat moderate to severe pain, containing tramadol and acetaminophen). The second tablet was Clonazepam which is used to treat seizure disorders and panic attacks. Both the tablets are banned under the NDPS Act, unless there is a valid prescription.

As per various media reports, NCB did not find anything suspicious there as they suspected after reading the chats between Agisialos and someone named Arjun. After raiding Arjun Rampal's house, NCB questioned his girlfriend Gabriella on November 11 and 12.
