OTT streaming giant Netflix has issued certain stringent guidelines for the first time in seven years to its employees.

Netflix updated its cultural guidelines for the first time since 2017 to include an  "artistic expression" section, that gives its employees a chance to introspect that their personal morals are alligned with the netflix content or not.

If not, they can quit their jobs without giving a second thought to it.

As a content creation company, Netflix works on the principle that offers a diversity of stories, even if  some titles counter to consumers' or employees' own personal values. If you find it hard to support content breadth, Netflix may not be best place to watch and work with, it told its employees.

Netflix’s current subscriber base in India is pegged at above five million, about a ninth to rival Disney+ Hotstar’s 46 million and above a fourth to Amazon Prime’s 22 million.
