In a shocking development, a youth allegedly drunk driving a black Mahindra Thar rammed multiple vehicles on Thursday. The speedy Mahindra Thar went on a car-hitting spree and commuters nearby started to run from the spot in order to save their life in Patiala. The shocking incident took place near the Leela Bhawan Chowk and 22 No. Phatak in Patiala. A chaotic situation prevailed after people started to chase the youth driving the Thar. Although a chaotic situation prevailed in the city, no one was grievously injured. Now, Patiala Thar video has been going viral on social media with people in shock why the youth did that.

In one of the Patiala Thar videos, a man can be seen pelting stones at the vehicle in order to stop it, however, the driver did not stop. In fact, the driver took a u-turn ramming another vehicle to escape from the spot. However, the driver at last was captured by the locals and was also confronted. Not only this, the Patiala Thar video further shows that the youth who was driving the car was under influence and therefore he was also thrashed.

As per reports, cops at the Civil Lines police station said the vehicle, a Thar, with three occupants hit a number of vehicles while coming from Ajit Nagar to the level crossing around 4.30 pm. Soon after, people tried to chase and stop the vehicle. Furthermore, Civil Lines SHO Jaspreet Singh was quoted saying that 'They tried to flee the scene after the car hit the vehicles, but it came to a halt near an eatery at 22 No. Phatak.' Furthermore, he also informed that three individuals have been nabbed namely- Amit, Parminder and Deepinder, all aged around 25 and the police are also getting them medically examined.

The SHO further informed that a case would be registered against the suspects under Sections 307 (attempt to murder), 279 (rash driving or riding on a public way), and others of the Indian Penal Code.
