Member of Parliament from Patiala and former Union Minister of State for External Affairs has termed the people's mandate in favour of pro people policies of Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh led government.
After the success of Congress candidates in most of the local bodies, she said that Punjab's urban voters have reposed faith in Congress Government and it will further strengthen our development agenda.
Expressing gratitude towards the voters of her parliamentary constituency from Derbassi to Patrana Municipal Councils, she said that the results had proved that the entire electoral process was fair and independent. She said that we respect the people's mandate and will improve our working as per the voters' expectations.
She said that clearcut mandate in local bodies' elections is a clear indication that no one can stop Congress to form next government in Punjab, again.
Preneet Kaur said that Captain Amarinder Singh and Congress have openly suoported the farmers in their testing times and will continue to back them till the rollback of anti farmer’s laws. She said that by showing the mirror to other parties in these elections, the voters have declared that they would vote for only those who take care of their problems and kept the promises that were announced earlier.
