Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to make his visit to Himachal Pradesh’s Chamba on 13th October 2022 in order to inaugurate various developmental projects. Reportedly, during his whole schedule of the visit to Himachal, the Prime Minister is likely to spare 15-20 minutes at Adampur Airport.
From Adampur, he will be traveling to Pathankot and from there a flight to Himachal Pradesh will be taken him. As the PM might stay for some time at the airport, the police administration has tightened the security in Adampur and Jalandhar to ensure no security lapse. As the festival season is going on and also recently various terror modules busted by the Punjab Police, fear of security breaches is hovering over the administration.
According to the information received, PM Narendra Modi will be inaugurating the 180 MW Bajoli Hydro Electric Project and lay the foundation stone for the 48 MW Chanju-III Hydro Electric Project and the 30.5 MW Deothal Chanju Hydro Electric Project. Earlier during the visit, 27 developmental projects were inaugurated by the PM worth Rs. 83.42 crores. It is also being said that a public meeting will also be conducted on related issues going on in Himachal Pradesh.
