Ravindra Jadeja ruled out of Border-Gavaskar Test series, shares picture of his broken thumb after surgery

While Team India is showing a lot of courage and fighting hard to keep the series alive against Australia but the injuries of the players have become a matter of concern. The Board of Cricket Control of India (BCCI) shared the piece of news that Team India ace all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has been ruled out of the Test series due to a broken thumb. 

BCCI Honorary Secretary Jay Shah released an official statement which said, "The all-rounder will now consult a hand specialist in Sydney before he returns to India. He will then head to the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru for further management of his injury."

Following that Jadeja underwent surgery in Sydney and shared the picture of his broken thumb. Jadeja took to Twitter and wrote, "Out of action for a http://while.surgery completed. But will soon return with a bang!"

Jadeja was hit on his thumb during the first innings of the third test at the SCG on the bowling of Mitchel Strac.
