Sacrilege Inside the Golden Temple’s sanctum sanctorum, accused killed

A man was thrashed to death in Punjab’s Amritsar city on Saturday evening after he allegedly attempted to commit sacrilege at the Golden Temple.

A man was thrashed to death in Punjab’s Amritsar city on Saturday evening after he allegedly attempted to commit sacrilege at the Golden Temple. The man crossed over metal grill around Guru Granth Sahib and tried to pick up a kirpan kept in front of Sri* Guru Granth Sahib. The eyewitnesses said that the accused also tried to pick up the flowers which were kept around Siri Guru Granth Sahib.


The Second Incident in a Row in Golden Temple

Earlier on December 15, a man threw ‘ Gutka Sahib’  in the sacred  pool. He was handed over to police by the members of SGPC. The man was identified as Ranveer Singh. SGPC president Harjinder Singh Dhami told police to take action against the accused and also conduct a thorough investigation. The President also said that it is not an act that happened incidentally but it was done purposely to spoil the atmosphere.
