Delhi Elections: Shiv Sena all praises Arvind Kejriwal for singlehandedly taking on BJP’s Hindu-Muslim politics

Shiv Sena mouthpiece Saamana has written, "Narendra Modi and Amit Shah have put up all their efforts in Delhi after they lost Maharashtra and Jharkhand. Nothing wrong if they want to win Delhi, but despite an army of 200 MPs, BJP CMs and the entire Modi cabinet, it seems that Kejriwal is weighing heavy on all others."

With Delhi Election going to take place on February 8, Bharatiya Janata Party's former ally Shiv Sena praised Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal for the way he handled the campaigns of BJP against him and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).

While praising Arvind Kejriwal, Shiv Sena also criticised the BJP on communalising the elections of Delhi with Hindu-Muslim politics.

Saamana went on to write, "Kejriwal is seeking votes on the basis of work done in five years. This is a new experiment in the country's politics. This should be welcomed beyond party lines. Voters of Delhi are intelligent."

"Kejriwal is seeking votes on the basis of work done in five years. This is a new experiment in the country's politics. This should be welcomed beyond party lines. Voters of Delhi are intelligent," said the editorial in Sena mouthpiece Saamana, and added that the BJP was trying to blossom lotuses in a dried pond.

The editorial also criticised the BJP and wrote,  "Even after having limited power and despite regular obstacles created by the Centre, his [Kejriwal] work in the field of education, health and public facilities are."

By taking a dig, the editorial wrote, "So extreme is BJP's hate for Kejriwal that they don't even like him going to a Hanuman temple and recite Hanuman Chalisa."

Slamming the BJP leader over 'Kejriwal Terrorist Remark', the Saamana put forward a question that why hasn't the Centre taken action against the Delhi CM. "If he is [a terrorist], then what is the Centre waiting for? They should act! Does the BJP want to suggest that 70% of Delhi voters voted for a terrorist in 2014?"
