Ravindra Jadeja, an all-rounder for India and the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), shared a picture on his official social media account on May 5 showing his return to his farmhouse and horses.

"Back to the place where I feel safe!! #farmhouse #staysafe," Jadeja tweeted. Jadeja is well-known for his affection for his pet horses, with whom he is frequently seen, especially during the lockdown last year.

After the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) was postponed, Jadeja revealed his safe location and urged everyone to remain safe.

Due to an increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in India, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the IPL governing council suspended the IPL on May 4. Even the IPL's bio-bubble saw a variety of Covid incidents, which played a significant role in the league's temporary suspension.

Varun Chakravarthy and Sandeep Warrier, both of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), tested positive. Wriddhiman Saha of the SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Amit Mishra of the Delhi Capitals (DC) both tested positive, as did several members of the team staff and ground staff.

Before the tournament was called off, just 29 of the 60 matches had been completed. The most recent match was on May 2 between Punjab Kings (PBKS) and DC.

With the postponement of the league, the BCCI may lose more than two thousand crore rupees in the broadcast and sponsorship amount. According to a senior BCCI official, the postponement of this session in the middle could result in a loss of Rs 2000 to Rs 2500 crore.

The BCCI has been working with other cricket authorities to re-locate the stranded international players from the IPL 2021.
