According to the investigators, the couple’s YouTube channel has nearly eight lakh subscribers, maximum of them are minors. The arrest was based on the complaint registered by a Chennai resident against the YouTube channels – Madan, Toxic Madan 18+, PUBG Madan Girl Fan, Richie Gaming YT, which are administrated by the couple.

The complaint named some titles in the channel like “Madan angry at his girlfriend, Strictly 18+, Tamil, PUBGM, and Richie GamiNg.” These all channels allegedly portrayed women in a vulgar way and violated privacy and dignity, via these channels they also used to trigger perversion among children who watch the videos.

As many followers of the channel are minors, the complaint also includes a ban on the channel besides action against Madan Kumar. On Thursday, while hearing the anticipatory bail plea, the Madras High Court said that it was “shocked to hear the recorded conversations.”
