Two-week Faculty Development Programme commenced at GNDU College today

A two-week Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on entrepreneurship under the aegis of Science And Technology department commenced at GNDU College, Ladowali Road, Jalandhar, here today. More than 50 faculties of different departments of colleges have participated in this programme.

 

In this inoculation program, Dr. Benipal, Dean of the college development department, Guru Nanak Dev University showed his virtual presence as chief guest. And Shri Sudhir Gera, partner of Kirloskar oil and engine, also an expert on entrepreneurship was present as special guest.


While commencing the session, Dr. Benipal wisely remarked that before starting up a business one must study its effect on society and the environment. So that new-winning milestones can be set up in the field of business. On this very occasion he hugely commended the great efforts of Dr. Ashish Arora, chief coordinator of FDP and also recommended such magnificently knowledgeable programs in near future.

 

After this, Shri Sudhir Gera carried on the idea with his perspicacious thoughts on the basic requirement of the business in today's era and enthused that business should be designed by keeping insight of the customer. So that immaculate business can be set up and strengthened.

 

After this Dr. Kamlesh Singh Duggal, OSD and program patron of GNDUC, wholeheartedly thanked Dr. Benipal and Shri Sudhir Gera for their presence.

 

At the end, Dr. Ashish Arora, Chief coordinator of the program and head of UBS department, thanked the audience and talked about the main objective of inculcating entrepreneur spirit in the students and faculty members.
