Residents across several localities in Jalandhar will face electricity interruptions on Monday, October 27, 2025, as the electricity department has announced scheduled maintenance shutdowns across multiple 11KV feeders. The power supply will remain suspended from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
According to official notices, the temporary shutdown is being carried out for essential maintenance and system strengthening work.

11KV Central Mill Feeder
Date & Time: October 27, 2025 (Monday), 09:00 hrs to 15:00 hrs
Affected Areas: Dhan Mohalla, Qilla Mohalla, Kaji Mohalla, Khingra Gate, Panj Peer Bazar, Attari Bazar, Shivrajgarh, Bashirpura, Adda Hoshiarpur.
11KV Railway Road Feeder
Date & Time: October 27, 2025 (Monday), 09:00 hrs to 15:00 hrs
Affected Areas: BDS Nagar, Dhan Mohalla, BKB
The electricity department has appealed to residents of the affected areas to plan their day accordingly and complete essential electrical tasks before the scheduled outage.
